Gogol and Pasсal (towards literary and philosophical convergence)

The paper outlines the communion idea of Pasсal's and Gogol’s views on man in “Selected passages from correspondence with friends” and in “The Pensées”. Furthermore, it detects the structural and typological similarities in authors’ texts and analyzes the collection process of authors’ thoughts and letters expressed in an integral statement.
