«Horizontal» and «vertical» in psycholinguistics: two views on text perception

The article discusses psycholinguistic methodology applicable to studies of text perception, analyses associative and semantic experiments and their «horizontal» and «vertical» evaluation. The authors believe that semantic experiment is effective for determining the quality of the official administrative and organizational texts.
