The concentration of stress-group hormones and of those regulating reparative osteogenesis, as well as the concentration of cyclic nucleotides was determined in patients after injuries and in subjects during limb length equalization. Mineral density (MD) at the ends of bone fragments and in regenerate bones was controlled to evaluate the functional status of bone tissue in the process of treatment using bone densitometers of Norland and GE/Lunar firms (USA). Studying of organism hormonal background allows to control the status of separate parts of reparative process, confirms the validity of conclusions, made by the results of densitometric and radionuclide studies
