Female hormone profile in women with positive therapeutic effects in mild form of climacteric syndrome

Research aim: hormone status assessment and clinical effect of Klimadynon® in women with natural menopause, complicated by mild form of climacteric syndrome. The study group was composed from women with mild form of climacteric syndrome. To determine degree of manifestation of climacteric syndrome, including evaluation of psychoemotional, metabolic-endocrine, neurovegetative disorders by points Kupperman menopausal index in E.V. Uvarova (1983) modification was used. Women hormone status was determined according to the levels of estradiol, follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone in blood before and after the treatment. The most significant modifications in two months period happened in neurovegetative and psychoemotional manifestations, and after third months - in metabolic manifestations also. Herewith neurovegetative and psychoemotional symptoms almost completely leveled down. Firm decrease (follicle-stimulating hormone and luteinizing hormone) and increase of estradiol were registered. It is worth emphasizing that all patients agreed on good medication tolerance. Non hormonal herbal preparation Klimadynon® can be an alternative medication for women to treat women with natural menopause, complicated by mild form of climacteric syndrome.
