Urban population of Sverdlovsk region during the Grate Patriotic War: the problems of demographic development

The article reflects the birth rate of Sverdlovsk region during the Grate Patriotic War. The author analyzed the main trends (tendencies) of the urban population, pointed out the factors that influenced the death rate during the war. The received data gave an opportunity to calculate the approximate rate of birth and death of the population of Sverdlovsk region.
