City pond as recreational resource (on the example of the pond in Kirov region of Samara city)

Studied the ecosystem of pond in territory of Samara as possible center of recreational zone. For 2 years 63 kinds of rotifers, 33 kinds of crustacea and 30 kinds of insects are revealed. Almost half of found out kinds meets in suburban, instead of in city reservoirs is more often. It is offered to consider a pond as the center of preservation of species diversity and as a recreational resource.
