The state ideology of the Russian Federation: what it be?

Analyzes the main stages of formation and development of the state ideology of Russia. The author comes to the conclusion that this ideology was in constant change and development, many borrowed from other civilizations, but at the same time retained their basic features, “civilization code”, “digesting”, reinterpreting the ideas of others, adapting them to the realities of Russia. The confrontation between Russia and the West was not a confrontation of ideologies and clash of civilizations. With the collapse of communism it has not stopped, but has only taken new forms. The author makes a conclusion that in modern Russia the dominant idea, consolidating a society can only be the idea of patriotism.
