State youth policy: project approach

The project approach, as an activity to achieve specific goals, is relevant for public administration in solving the accumulated problems of youth policy. The scientific and practical significance of the article lies in the formation of the author's position regarding the application of the project approach in public administration. On the example of a specific federal project «Social Activity», the state administration is considered, aimed at solving a set of problems for the development of volunteering, talents and abilities among young people. Weaknesses of its implementation are identified. It is concluded that it is necessary to strengthen control over the implementation of the project's targets, and timely posting information on its implementation on the website of Rosmolodezh and in the AIS «Youth of Russia».
