State support of the youth through the non-profit organizations, forums and grants as a new direction of the youth policy in contemporary Russia

The study deals with the new forms of the state support of the youth activity in contemporary Russia through the non-profit organizations, youth forums, and grants. The goals of the grant support for the non-profit organizations are enhancing public confidence in the government, implementing the idea of social justice, creating a reserve for the political and economic elite of the country through the promotion of the youth activity in various fields, including the political one. In the North Caucasus Federal District, the most popular is the Youth Forum Mashuk, which gathers young people primarily from all over the district to increase their activity, establish a personnel reserve for the authorities. The main functions of the above-mentioned forum include the neutralization of the social problems and contradictions in the youth environment; building a public dialogue between the young people from the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the North Caucasus Federal District; the counteraction to political extremism among the youth; providing the creative arena for the youth initiatives, increasing the opportunities for the development of social and political competence and Russian patriotism.
