State support for the development of agroindustrial complex in the Republic of Buryatia

State support for the agroindustrial complex is an indispensable condition for its progressive development, which contributes to the full provision of basic food products to the population and the development of prerequisites for national food security. The article studies the parameters of state support for agriculture and rural areas on the Republic of Buryatia. The authors give the assessment of the main trends in the development of the agro-food sector in the context of the implementation of state programs and propose some recommendations for improving the methods of evaluating the effectiveness of the implementation of state programs. It is revealed that the current state programs implemented in the region are not effective enough and require improvement of public administration technologies. It is proposed to supplement the currently used methodology for evaluating the effectiveness of government programs with parameters of social and economic and budgetary effectiveness with their study in dynamics (by subprograms). It will allow assess the implemented programs in a more reliable and objective way and develop effective measures within the framework of agri-food policy.
