State policy on the rational use of material resources and people's control in the 1980s

The article outlines the directions of control activities regarding the implementation of state policy on the implementation of national economic plans in the 1980s. The basis of the study is a systematic approach, combining methods of analysis and synthesis, through which the ways and forms of control over the rational use of material resources are considered on the example of the control authorities in Moscow. The aim of the work - on a specific historical material to consider the forms and effectiveness of the people's control bodies on the acute issue of effective and prudent use of material resources, affecting both the internal policy of the state and public relations. This problem is studied on the basis of research by historians, political scientists, philosophers, lawyers, the source base consists of archival materials. As a result, it is concluded that the problem of rational use of material resources remains relevant, therefore, the positive experience of control activities in this area can be useful in modern conditions.
