Russian state policy in the field of military security

The problem of intensifying competition between subjects of policy, which manifests itself against the background of the formation of a polycentric international system, the growing contradictions associated with uneven world development, the widening gap between the level of welfare of states, increasing the struggle for resources and leading to the emergence of armed conflicts, is analyzed It is emphasized that these and other circumstances increase the role of the force factor in international relations, at the same time building up and modernizing the power potential, creating and deploying new types of weapons undermines strategic stability and creates a threat to the national security of Russia. It is concluded that the military security of the Russian Federation is intended to protect the vital interests of the individual, society and the state.
