The state policy of the USSR in the field of command personnel supply for the Interior Ministry Troops of the USSR (1973-1991)

This article describes optimization of the officers’ training for the internal troops in the last years of the Soviet Union. By studying the archival documents previously unpublished, the author analyzes the public policy of the USSR in the field of command personnel supply for the interior ministry troops in 1973-1991. During this period there were changes in the officers’ training management, in particular, the modern system of officers’ training for the interior ministry troops was set up.
