State policy in the field of countering the consumption and spread of tobacco and other nicotine-containing products: implementation in the Sverdlovsk region

The article deals with the implementation of the state policy in the field of countering the consumption and spread of tobacco and other nicotine-containing products in Russia. Statistical indicators on the prevalence of tobacco use among the population of the country and a particular region are provided. The author analyzed the main measures to limit the consumption of tobacco and nicotine-containing products, implemented at the level of the subject. The author also offers recommendations for improving the mechanism for implementing preventive measures for the use of nicotine-containing products.
