State policy in the sphere of providing ecological safety of the citizens

In the work is carried out the analysis of state policy in the sphere of ecological safety from 2002 the year, the basic normative reports are examined. Special attention is given to the guarantee of ecological rights of citizens, ecological position of civic community. Purpose of a study — to estimate the sums of the realization of the policy of ecological safety of the population of the Russian Federation. For the pasts numerous results in the sphere of reduction in the ecological danger of the objects of economic activity the time is achieved, requirements on the introduction of ecologically safe technologies are intensified. But the ecological situation in the country as before remains stressed and the living environment of citizens is not satisfactory. There is no active position of citizens on the protection of its rights, right to the favorable medium and the information about it. The analysis of some reasons of this passiveness of citizens is given. The participation of state in the making more active of the motion of citizens and their unions in making of the ecologically significant decisions, conducting of public ecological control is necessary.
