State policy regarding school education in the 2000's: interaction between the authorities and the church

The main directions of cooperation between the state and the church in educational sphere in the 2000-s are discussed in the paper. The author considers areas and results of the church and state relations in Russia. The article describes a training course "Introduction to religious cultures and society ethics" during implementation of which there was accumulated an experience of interaction between the religious confessions, federal and regional authorities governing the education.
