The given article deals with the views of a great writer on Russian state formation. It examines his attitudes to the heads of our country, Jesus Christ, outstanding writers. Denying the common appraisal of scientific and pedagogical theories and deeds of the creator of «War and peace» the authors also try to analyze his actions from a critical point of view.
