State regulation of prices in Russia

Particular attention at the current stage of socio-economic development of Russia is given to state price regulation (GRC) as one of the most important elements of economic policy. Today it is obvious that the main drawback in the field of GRC is the lack of a decision-making system allowing to take into account the interests of all market participants. The main emphasis in the research is on working out price leverage. The observed contradiction expressed in the interest of the authorities, on the one hand, in containing prices for socially significant goods and services, and on the other hand, in the interest of the authorities in obtaining as much tax revenues from enterprises as possible at the budgets of the corresponding levels, can be resolved by identifying problems and consideration of the possibility of resolving them on the basis of the methods and practices of the GEC with an emphasis on meeting the needs of diverse market participants.
