The article provides an analysis of the main problems and prospects of development of state regulation of the Russian economy. Russia embarked on the path of a market economy in 1991. An analysis of state regulation of economic relations is now particularly relevant, because economists note the availability of prospects for economic growth in the country. However, the development of the economy is hindered by problems such as high levels of corruption, a significant informal sector and poverty. Experts see the solution to these problems in the fight against corruption of government, the introduction of a special complex for the development of competitiveness and housing and communal services reform. Thus, Russia has the potential for high-quality economic growth, for this it is necessary to choose effective instruments of state regulation.
