State regulation of the economy in the context of institutional and spatial transformations

The article discusses the role of economic policy in the institutional and spatial transformation of economies. It explores the concept of institutional and spatial transformation and how economic policy can contribute to this transformation. On the examples of various countries, including Russia, the article illustrates the different economic policies that have been implemented to promote institutional and spatial transformation, including import substitution policies, national projects, and digitalization of public services. The article concludes that economic policy plays a crucial role in shaping the institutional and spatial transformation of economies, and policymakers should focus on implementing policies that promote economic growth, diversification, and regional development while improving the institutional environment.
