Governmental regulation of competitive relations at the regional level

The article focuses on issues of governmental regulation of competitive relations at the regional level in the following areas: support for competition as such; antitrust regulation; regulation of competitive relations in the field of procurement of goods, works, services for state and municipal needs. The article provides a list of the main regulatory acts related to state regulation of competitive relations. Attention is paid to issues related to state regulation and support of small and medium-sized businesses. As an example, statistics of economic indicators characterizing the development of the Kaluga region are given. Considering the Kaluga Region as an example, we can say that our region has developed competition. In this regard, entrepreneurial structures are becoming more competitive and efficient not only among local manufacturers, but also on an inter-regional and international scale. Consequently, this affects the image and competitiveness of the region as a whole. Emphasis is placed on the economic and legal aspects of governmental regulation of competitive relations. As a result, the article notes that governmental regulation of competitive relations at the regional level is carried out in line with the principles of the Constitution of the Russian Federation and the laws of a market economy.
