State regulation of the oil and gas industry and its influence on the economy of the KHMAO-Ugra

The article is devoted to the consideration of the features of regulation of the oil and gas industry on the example of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug-Yugra, as well as its role in the regional economy. Special attention in the research process is paid to state programs to support and expand oil refining using the example of Samotlorneftegaz JSC under the new OPEC + restrictions. Also, special emphasis is placed on the need to harmonize social, environmental and economic factors in the process of developing state programs for regulating the oil and gas complex in the regional context.
