State regulation of production high-tech products in Russia in modern conditions

The relevance of the research topic lies in the fact that the production of high-tech products is one of the key factors in economic growth, social development, technological progress, and national security of the country. Achieving a high level of high-tech production in Russia will make it possible to effectively counter modern geopolitical challenges, adapt to the situation on the global market, develop domestic production, and ensure a decent standard of living for citizens. The state has an important role in the development of high technologies. It determines priority areas and the pace of their development, creates conditions for development, and finances production. The purpose of the study is to study state regulation of the production of high-tech products in Russia in modern conditions. Both government support measures and development indicators for the production of high-tech products in the Russian Federation over the past few years were studied. It is concluded that the development of high technologies in the country is negatively affected by foreign economic and foreign policy factors. In 2022, the growth rate in the production of high-tech products decreased, however, due to the active development of import substitution and government support for domestic manufacturers, in 2023 the development indicators of high-tech production significantly improved. This indicates that with the right strategy and coordination of actions between the state and business, the Russian economy is able to overcome external challenges and create conditions for the modernization of high-tech industries. The development of the high-tech sector in Russia requires an integrated approach. Preferential lending, quotas for the purchase of products by government agencies and the development of cooperation between business, science and education are key elements in the development of high technologies.
