The article deals with the issues of state regulation of labor and employment in the Russian Federation in the conditions of the emergence and spread of coronavirus infection. The analysis of indicators of the development of the labor market and employment is carried out, the main indicators and criteria for the development of the labor market are considered. The measures of state support for leveling the consequences of the pandemic are analyzed. Measures for further development of the labor market and increasing the level of employment in the Russian economy for the period 2020-2030 are formulated.
