State influence on the stability of the Russian regions

In article are considered questions of the study of competitiveness of the commodity sector of the economy and areas of improvement. Developed external and internal factors affecting competitiveness. It justifies the development of methods for the evaluation of sustainable development dynamics of regional entities. Government regulation in raising the socio-economic stability of the Russian regions is analyzed from the perspective of inertial, optimistic and pessimistic scenario of the forecast.
