State mechanisms for supporting innovative entrepreneurship: domestic and foreign experience

The article provides an assessment of innovation activity in Russia and European countries that occupy leading positions in the field of innovation development and influence business development, taking into account the priority activities of small and medium-sized businesses. A comparative analysis of criteria for assessing innovation activity in Russia and European countries is provided. Recommendations are proposed to strengthen the role of the state in the development of fast-growing entrepreneurship.
