Liquidation of the Polish voluntary troops in 1915 and turning them into parts of the regular Russian army showed new approaches of the Russian leadership. Solving these problems, the headquarters determine the placement of new units, providing them with uniforms, weapons and training. Particularly important role in the education of the soldiers was played by chaplains. At the same time, Polish soldiers often violated military discipline and were not stable in the battles. However, this does not speak about the weaknesses of these groups, but it more indicates the general level of combat capabilities of the Russian army. Besides, the command did not trust the Poles, and the Polish infantry brigade did not receive artillery and a number of other services. Therefore, the military unit was not quite ready to fight.
