State educational and science reforms in Russia in the late 18th - early x19th century

State policy directions in the Russian education and science in the late 18th - early 19th century are discussed. Purposes, tasks and contents of education of given historical period are described. Historical documents (Russian emperors’ orders which relate with public education, school and university Charters, historical notes) are analyzed. State’s reforms in the Russian education and science in the late 18th - early 19th century are listed and characterized in chronological sequence. Statistics information of this historical period about the quantity of pupils, teachers and schools are given.
