The article is devoted to the study of the most urgent problem of mankind - state terrorism, as the most widespread type of terrorism in the modern world. The author makes a philosophical interpretation of the concept of state terrorism and analyzes the causes of the spread of this type of terrorism as a type of armed struggle in the context of the realization of the meaninglessness of nuclear war by mankind. Investigating the secret activity of state power, the author cites historical examples of state terrorism in relation to the population of the country and in relation to external enemies. Considering the great-power policy of the United States aimed at the formation of a specific world order, the author sets out a version about its parasitic orientation towards other countries of the world.
