The article presents the author's position in the understanding of the readiness of a future mathematics teacher to implement a system-activity approach as a goal and an expected result of a stage of the methodical preparation process. Besides, the article specifies the notion of the readiness of a future mathematics teacher to implement a system-activity approach. It also describes the structural components of readiness, reflecting the extent of the internal readiness of a future mathematics teacher to implement a system-activity approach and the extent of an external procedural-activity form of the display of relevant characteristics. In addition, the article reveals the content of the selected components.
