In the context of global changes, a highly responsible approach to decision-making becomes critically important, since they determine the fate of future generations. At the same time, attention to issues of social responsibility and stimulation of civic initiative and personal responsibility is increasing In Russia. Social responsibility is not only compliance with laws and regulations, but also a conscious acceptance of responsibility for one’s actions and their consequences for others, showing initiative in solving social problems, respecting the rights and freedoms of others, and readiness for cooperation and constructive dialogue. The education of a socially responsible individual is becoming not just desirable, but a necessary condition for the sustainable development of Russian society. It involves the formation of certain values and norms in students, such as respect for human dignity, justice, equality, solidarity, concern for the environment, and responsibility for one’s actions. These values should not only be declared, but also implemented in the real life of an educational institution. The task of educating students to a socially responsible position is one of the most important for modern educational institutions, providing the necessary educational space for these purposes, which is the result of the creative and integrative activities of the educational institution (teachers and students), aimed at creating a common value-normative way of life. The article presents materials of the problem-oriented analysis of the activities of the “Troitsk Technological College” and schools of the city of Troitsk in educating students in a socially responsible position.
