First-year law students’ readiness for physical education at RANEPA University

This article discusses the preparation of first-year students at the RANEPA Faculty of Law for the physical education curriculum in a higher education setting. Various factors influencing this level of readiness are examined, including differences between school and university physical education systems, specific features of the legal education process, and motivational factors. The results of a student survey reflecting their attitudes toward physical education classes following their school experience are presented. Recommendations are formulated for improving the adaptation process and enhancing the effectiveness of physical education for this category of students.
