The article is devoted to the reconstruction of the life's journey of the former Minister of Finance (1905-1905, 1906-1914) and Chairman of the Council of Ministers of the Russian Empire (1911-1914) Count V. N. Kokovtsov during his exile. This article was prepared on the documentary from the archives of the Royal Museum of the Army and Military History in Brussels. The article describes the main areas of V. N. Kokovtsov's public activity, his participation in various emigrant organizations, such as the Committee of Russian private commercial banks, Russian Committee of the united organizations in France and others. V. N. Kokovtsov emigrated in October 1918. He and his family settled in France. Russian count had a great support of the French political circles, for example, Raymond Poincaré. V. N. Kokovtsov tried to take part in the Russian political conference. However, he failed. Then count V. N. Kokovtsov has been actively engaged in public sphere. He made peace with some former opponents, such as Professor P. P. Migulin. In 1919, he headed the Committee of Russian private commercial banks. In the 1920s. V. N. Kokovtsov wrote several analytical works about the Soviet economy. In 1924, count headed the Russian Committee of the united organizations in France. He was a member of the Emigrant committee and worked there with V. A. Maklakov. The extreme right repeatedly criticized him. Count V. N. Kokovtsov does not support the nationalists and anti-Semites. Count V. N. Kokovtsov solved the social problems of Russian immigrants, for example, he worked in the Distribution Committee. He supported the Metropolitan Eulogy, helped the St. Alexander Nevsky Cathedral in Paris. During the emigration, V. N. Kokovtsov was still a staunch monarchist. However, he was critical of the heirs of the Grand Duke Kirill Vladimirovich. V. N. Kokovtsov was one of the founders of the Association of former pupils of the Imperial Alexander Lyceum. This organization has an important social and memorial functions. Count V. N. Kokovtsov played a huge role in preserving the heritage of the Lyceum abroad. He was one of the founders of the Lyceum archive. In 1937, this archive was deposited in the Royal Museum of Army and Military History in Brussels. V. N. Kokovtsov wrote a memoir in the 1930s. V. N. Kokovtsov died in Paris in 1943.
