Grafomaniya as a cultural and aesthetic phenomenon: formulation of academic problem

The study is devoted to graphomania as a cultural and aesthetic phenomenon. In our opinion, graphomania is a significant phenomenon for Russian and world culture. In this article, we will try to sanctify the problems associated with this phenomenon, and outline the field of research. The phenomenon of graphomania will be considered by us from the point of view of psychiatry, language, literary criticism and artistic expression. The volume of scientific literature devoted to graphomania in Russian and English is not so great, therefore, an attempt at a holistic examination of our subject is actual.
