Grammatical representation of the number category in Hindi and Uzbek

In this study, the issues of expressing the category of genetic and typological numbers of different Hindi and Uzbek languages are addressed in order to clarify the convergence and divergence between them. To illustrate these and those provisions, authentic material from the literary works of modern Indian and Uzbek authors is used. In the article, the phenomena of convergence and divergence are considered in terms of their structure, semantics and function.
