Grammatical features of Spanish polynational language in Mexico and Colombia

The article is devoted to the problem of cultural identity and valuable submissions of Latin Americans (Mexicans and Colombians), their realization at the grammatical level in a communicative process in Latin-American variants of the Spanish polynational language. The methods of linguistic observation and description were used to identify the importance of the axiological factor for Mexicans and Colombians. The comparative method and the method of continuous sampling were used for collecting language material from periodicals, social networks and Latin American websites. The significance of the values of traditions and culture, stimulation, friendliness, and self-preservation are determined based on the material analysis. Their expression means are also shown. These ethnic values determine personal pronoun and tense form usage in Colombians’ and Mexicans’ speech. The results are of use for teaching the Spanish language, cross-cultural communication and cultural linguistics; they may be useful for studying cultural features of Mexicans and Colombians as well. References are recommended for writing course papers and theses.
