Gravity model estimation the involvement of countries in world trade

The article discusses approaches to the study and study of various concepts of the gravitational model. Identify the advantages and disadvantages of the model. Study of such variables as indicators of population, area of countries, gross domestic product, length of the border and others. As well as on the example of relations between China and Russia, the Netherlands and Russia, a gravitational model for assessing the involvement of countries in world trade is calculated.
