Grouping of regions of the Russian Federation by the level of state support and the degree of development of agriculture

The article deals with the problem of efficiency of the system of state support of agriculture. The authors examine changes in the indicators of agricultural development and the amount of state support funds for all programs. In 2020, compared to 2017, there is an increase in gross value added in agriculture of the Russian Federation, a decrease in the number of agricultural enterprises and a decrease in the volume of state support. At the same time, the analysis of the structure does not reveal a pattern in which regions with a high share of gross value added created in agriculture would correspond to a low share of the number of agricultural enterprises in the total number of agricultural enterprises of the Russian Federation. Thus, there is a tendency to enlarge agricultural production, but significant changes in the structure have not yet occurred.
