Class action - based on uniform legal and factual circumstances, an appeal to the court with a substantive claim aimed at protecting the violated or disputed rights and legitimate interests of a group of persons or an undefined group of persons, carried out by a representative of this group or another entity capable of adequately and objectively protecting the interests this group. Class actions are a kind of new category of claims in civil proceedings. Introduction to the code of chapter 22.3. "Consideration of cases on the protection of the rights and legitimate interests of a group of persons" makes it possible to implement in more detail the protection of the rights and public interests of citizens, save the time of judges, and also contributes to the consolidated consideration of homogeneous claims, this avoids the issuance of contradictory judicial acts.
