The object of the study is the investigation of the 1949 Khabarovsk trial on the crimes of Japanese detachments No 100 and No 731 involved in the proliferation and use of bacteriological weapons among peaceful population. The historical significance of the Khabarovsk trial for the international community and the result of the Second World War is determined.
