Habitualization of family practices in young families: instability factors

The article deals with the problem of satisfaction with family relations of young couples. This problem is considered in the framework of habitualization theory. It is argued that habitualization of family practices in young families is unstable. On the basis of empirical study of young families, the author discusses four factors that affect the unstable family habitualization. They include the instability of social status of young couples, material security, emotional instability, proneness to conflict, perception of marriage as "satisfactory" / "unhappy". The authors come to the conclusion that there is a need for development of family consciousness.
