Oblomov's robe: the problem of intertextual connections of artistic image

Article deals with an important problem of literary theory, namely the study of intertextual connections of a work of art. This problem is considered on the example of Ivan Goncharov's novel "Oblomov". Based on the analysis of intertextual links of the artistic image (Oblomov's robe) in the novel and in someoriginal texts the author comes to the conclusion that the text of the novel can be classified as precedent texts contained precedent statements.
