Sunflower inbred lines variability under pre - basic seeds reproduction in nursery

Variability of nine sunflower inbred lines was studied in VNIIMK, Krasnodar, in 2009-2010. Lines VK-678, VK-653, VK-680, VK-508, VK-551, VK-585 and VD-541 are ranged on such traits as duration of period from emergence to flowering, plant height, oil content, and 1000 seeds weight. They don t need additional breeding work for this traits stabilization. Also it is possible to improve lines VK-276 and VK-580 on oil content in seeds, and VK-580 besides that on 1000 seeds weight.
