The nature of the economic relations between Russia and the IMF

The article considers the cooperation between Russia and IMF, suggested the main reasons for this cooperation, analyzed the positive and negative consequences of this cooperation between the parties during the last decades and the possibility of reducing the external public debt of Russia from the international organization and the reduction in dependence in the sphere of the adoption of political and economic decisions in view of the provided funds from IMF.
