Characteristics of intellectual disabilities in children with health limitations

The article discusses the main characteristics of various degrees of mental retardation, the identified main features of manifestation, the corresponding intelligence quotients and the frequency of occurrence in the total number in people with mental retardation, identifies the main possible causes of intellectual impairment in children, as well as possible risks in the process of growing up. The paper presents a detailed interpretation of the behavior of children with intellectual disabilities with various pain syndromes, which will improve the efficiency of interaction between a specialist and people with disabilities. The authors offer basic recommendations for specialists working with children with intellectual disabilities in children with health limitations.
