Creating an optimal tax system is one of the main tasks of the state. So, this article discusses the main stages of the formation of the Chinese tax system, the types of taxes that are applied today. In addition, the paper describes the distinctive features of this system, as well as its advantages and disadvantages. Also, 3 levels were considered into which taxes are divided.
