Characteristic of the defense industrial complex after a pandemia

Obviously, the coronavirus pandemic that swept the world at the beginning of the year affected almost all sectors of the national economy. And, while in some industries, such as retail trade and medicine, there is growth caused by panic demand for food and personal protective equipment, in others, it has led to a serious decline. It is very important to note that if for some the effect becomes noticeable already in the short term, for others it will have a delayed character. Especially, this applies to industries performing state orders, in particular, defense. In this regard, the experience of those countries that have experienced a pandemic earlier and are already starting to return to normal is valuable. The article attempts to summarize international experience and identify the characteristic problems that the Russian military-industrial complex will face after quarantine.
