Concerning the foundations of the crisis management at the enterprise

The article discusses the issues of business management in the conditions of its unsustainable development. The author names the five major functions of the effective crisis management: goal setting, planning, organization, motivation and control. The crisis management is carried out in accordance with three theories of management (process-based, system-based and situation-based) and is aimed at restoring of the company’s ability to organize and maintain the internal and external balance. The author emphasizes the importance of such a factor as time, as well as the need for combination of tactical and strategic decisions to help the company get out of the crisis.
