Characteristics of adolescents with risk of self-harm behavior and substance use

The article presents epidemiological data reflecting the importance of the problem of autoagressive behavior in adolescence. The main characteristics of self-injurious behavior of adolescents associated with the use of psychoactive substances obtained from empirical research conducted in secondary schools of the Moscow Region are considered. The aim of the study is to identify and characterize risk groups of adolescents with autoagressive behavior. The study involved 2,085 students aged 10 to 18 years. On the basis of the data of univariate and multivariate analysis of variance significant differences in the characteristics of autoagressive behavior of adolescents of different age groups were obtained. On the basis of statistical data gender characteristics of different types of self-injurious behavior in adolescents were distinguished.
