In patients with non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas, a study of the immune status was carried out, including the determination of the subpopulation composition of lymphocytes, the functional activity of neutrophils, the level of immunoglobulins in peripheral blood, and the concentration of cytokines in mononuclear cell culture and blood serum. Antiviral immunity includes a set of mechanisms aimed at neutralizing and removing from the body the virus, its antigens and virus-infected cells. The implementation of the protective reaction occurs with the help of both humoral components, immunity (neutralization of viruses with antibodies, immune lysis of virus-infected cells with antibodies), and cell (presentation of a viral antigen by phagocytes, cytotoxicity of T lymphocytes).
